Dr. Ashley Sidell, DAcCHM, AP, is a licensed acupuncture physician, clinical herbalist, and the founder of Cypress Grove Acupuncture in Valrico, Florida. She is nationally board certified by the NCCAOM and sees patients in person and by telehealth throughout Florida.
Her practice focuses on chronic, autoimmune, and inflammatory conditions, especially for people who have tried many things and still don’t feel like themselves. She developed the Capacity Framework, a way of looking at chronic illness through the body’s ability to adapt and recover, not only its symptoms. Her treatment plans combine Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutrition, and realistic lifestyle changes.
Her focus comes from her own experience. Ashley lives with autoimmune conditions and knows what it’s like when your body stops responding the way it should. Today she is raising five kids, running her practice, and skydiving. She is also the author of The Florida Man Field Guide to Chinese Medicine.
